This summer, “Transforming Human Rights” organized a Methods Lab summer school in collaboration with the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, bringing together people from Nuremberg, Oxford, Buenos Aires, and many other places to have discussions on the methodological dimensions of human rights research.
Participants benefited from masterclasses on topics such as doctrine and mixed methods, the pros and cons of quantitative research in human rights, open-source investigations, and historians’ work in archives. Last but not least, the Lab offered valuable opportunities to connect with new colleagues.
