Call for Applications:

Summer School on Corporate Accountability & Climate Justice in Nuremberg,

4-9 October 2026

The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Tilburg Law School invite applications for an international summer school on Corporate Accountability & Climate Justice in Nuremberg from 4-9 October 2026 (on-site only). The summer school is addressed to human rights practitioners and advanced students with prior knowledge of climate change law & policy and/or business & human rights interested in pursuing a career in a civil society organization. Language:    The summer school will be held in English.

Fee: 350 EUR (including lunches & refreshments). We can offer six fee waivers for applicants with limited financial means and/or from underrepresented geographic and social backgrounds. Please lay out the reasons why you request a fee waiver as part of your motivation letter.

Please send your application (short motivation letter & CV) to summerschool@ecchr.eu by 3 May 2026. Successful candidates will be notified and are expected to confirm their participation by remitting the summer school fee by the end of May.
